The Tangled Wood: Concept Development | Fleet Branding Strategy
Prior to the finalization of the “Curbside Cuisine” identity, the creative process involved exploring high-impact, thematic directions for the catering fleet. Given the vehicle’s significant scale, I proposed a bold, narrative-driven concept designed to maximize market visibility and brand engagement throughout the Quad Cities.
Creative Strategy & Conceptualization:
-
High-Impact Visual Narrative: Proposed a comprehensive vehicle wrap inspired by the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, featuring iconic nose art, including the signature “shark mouth” and vintage-style pinup aesthetics.
-
Aggressive Market Positioning: Designed the concept to serve as a mobile landmark, intended to generate organic social media traction and establish the food truck as a premier, “must-see” attraction at regional events.
-
Environmental Scale Optimization: Leveraged the vehicle’s unique dimensions to accommodate a large-scale, detailed illustration, turning a functional asset into a powerful, immersive marketing tool.
-
Alternative Brand Direction: Provided a visionary alternative that prioritized high-octane personality and historical homage, demonstrating a range of creative possibilities for the brand’s mobile expansion.
