In Fall 2008, I partnered with The Curtainbox Theatre Company to develop the visual identity for their upcoming production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
The objective was to create a compelling poster that mirrored the dramatic intensity of Shanley’s script. I established a somber, oceanic color palette blended with distressed typography to evoke a sense of isolation and raw emotion. Key structural elements—such as integrating headshots, structured performance schedules, and ticketing call-outs—were organized into a balanced, scannable layout. The resulting design served as the core asset across all print and digital marketing channels for the production’s successful run.
