I was asked to lead the comprehensive visual rebrand for Steventons, a premier fine dining destination in Le Claire, Iowa. Having utilized its original brand assets since its inception in 1992, the establishment required a modernized identity that accurately reflects its reputation for elegance and culinary sophistication.

Strategic Design Objectives:

  • Elevated Brand Perception: Developed a refined visual language to better align the establishment’s public image with its high-end dining experience and upscale atmosphere.

  • Typographic & Iconographic Integration: As showcased in the design, the new identity features a custom-scripted, oversized “S” monogram centered within a double-ring seal, providing a classic yet contemporary mark of quality.

  • Modernized Legacy: Balanced the restaurant’s 30-plus year heritage with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic, ensuring the brand remains relevant to a discerning modern clientele while honoring its long-standing history.

  • High-Contrast Versatility: Engineered the logo for high-impact performance across luxury touchpoints, including:

    • Premium leather-bound menus and wine lists.

    • Etched glassware and high-end promotional collateral.

    • Sophisticated digital presence and social media branding.
