Rescue Rocks Fundraising Festival
In 2025, The Tangled Wood launched Rescue Rocks, an all-day music festival and fundraiser dedicated to supporting local no-kill animal shelters. As the lead graphic designer for the event, I established the foundational visual identity and continue to develop the annual branding, marketing assets, and event merchandise.
Strategic Event Production:
- Design Strategy The creative strategy centers on a dynamic, high-energy aesthetic featuring custom-illustrated cat and dog “mascots” updated each year. Utilizing vibrant, psychedelic color palettes and a cohesive circular emblem design, the branding seamlessly bridges the gap between music festival energy and animal advocacy. The resulting assets are highly adaptable, performing consistently across digital marketing, print promotion, and retail merchandise.

- 2025 Inaugural Event: Raised over $20,000 for King’s Harvest Pet Rescue.
- Over 200 shirts were sold out in two and a half hours.
- 2026 Campaign: Currently executing the updated visual identity to benefit the Humane Society of Scott County.
