As the lead creative director and talent coordinator for Rock The Wood, I oversee the full-scale production of our signature summer concert series. For the 2024 season, the objective was to combine high-volume event management with a nostalgic, vintage-inspired visual campaign that resonated with the demographic of the Tangled Wood’s outdoor amphitheater.

  • Talent Curation & Scheduling: Orchestrated the booking and logistical coordination for 53 professional musical acts, maintaining a high-frequency performance schedule every Friday and Saturday throughout the summer.

  • Sustained Audience Growth: Through targeted regional marketing and high-caliber programming, the 2024 series maintained a massive draw, attracting over 65,000 guests and reinforcing the venue’s status as a premier regional entertainment hub.

  • Retro-Aesthetic Brand Identity: Developed the “Tour 24” concept, as seen in the new design, specifically engineered to emulate the high-energy aesthetic of mid-1980s rock concert apparel. The design features a distressed, illustrated eagle motif, crossed guitars, and a primary-color palette typical of vintage stadium tour graphics.

  • Integrated Merchandising & Promotion: Developed a unified suite of assets optimized for diverse applications, including:

    • Vintage-Style Retail Apparel: Engineered high-contrast, distressed graphics for both public merchandise and staff uniforms, leveraging the “concert tour” theme to drive secondary revenue.

    • Large-Format Promotional Media: Designed high-impact posters and seasonal schedules that utilized the bold, “tour-style” typography to ensure maximum visibility.
